How to Smoke a Pipe

1. PREP YOUR TOBACCO
- Beginners, use ribbon cut for easiest packing

Let tobacco dry for 10–15 minutes

2. PACK THE PIPE
Use the 3-step method:
- Bottom: light press
- Middle: medium press
- Top: firm press
✔ Draw should feel like sipping through a straw
3. CHAR LIGHT (FIRST LIGHT)
- Apply flame while gently puffing
- Move flame in a circular motion
- Let tobacco rise, then tamp lightly
4. TRUE LIGHT
- Relight evenly
- Puff gently until you get a consistent ember

5. SMOKE SLOW
- Take slow, steady sips
- Don’t overheat the pipe
- Let it rest between puffs
✔ Cool smoke = better flavor
6. TAMP & RELIGHT
- Tamp lightly as ash builds
- Relight as needed (completely normal)
7. FINISH & CLEAN
- Let pipe cool fully
- Empty ash gently
- Run a pipe cleaner through the stem
